KTVR – Vicksburg Tallulah Regional Airport

Construction began in late summer 1941, with the War Department leasing the site and providing it to the United States Army Air Forces for a training airfield.

After World War II, the airport transitioned to commercial use, serving as a regional airport for Vicksburg and the surrounding areas.  Over the years, the airport has undergone various expansions and improvements to accommodate changing aviation needs.
